Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

Clarity Compass is operated by Advacap Technologies, LLC ("Advacap", "we", "us"). By accessing or using Clarity Compass, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Clarity Compass.

2. What Clarity Compass is — and is not

Clarity Compass is a structured self-reflection tool for two partners. It presents your answers side by side and offers AI-generated reflections. It is not therapy, counselling, medical or psychological advice, or crisis care, and it is not a substitute for any of these. Clarity Compass never recommends whether you should stay in or leave a relationship; every decision remains entirely yours. If you are in danger, please contact local emergency or support services.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service fairly and lawfully, as set out in our Acceptable Use Policy. In summary, you must not:

  • Using Clarity Compass for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defraud, or spam others.
  • Infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Interfering with the service's security — including introducing malware, probing or scanning systems, or scraping content at scale.
  • Attempting to access another couple's session or answers without their invitation code.
  • Reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the service, or circumventing technical limits such as the paid report gate.

4. AI-generated reflections

If you choose to generate AI reflections, both partners' answers and written reflections are processed by an AI service solely to produce those reflections, and only after you give explicit consent. Please note:

  • AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is not professional advice of any kind.
  • You are responsible for what you write, how you use the output, and for verifying anything that matters to you.
  • You must have the right to share the content you submit, and you must not submit illegal content, content intended to harm or manipulate another person, or content that infringes others' rights.
  • We may refuse, filter, or remove content and suspend access where these terms are violated.

5. Intellectual property

Advacap Technologies, LLC owns the service and its intellectual property, including the software, question framework, design, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Clarity Compass for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of the answers and reflections you write; you grant us a limited license to host and process them solely to provide the service to you.

6. Purchases and payment

The Deep-Dive Report is a one-time purchase of $24 that unlocks the full report for a couple's session; current pricing is shown on our Pricing page. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

7. Service availability

We do not guarantee that Clarity Compass will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of these terms. Where access ends, session data may be deleted in line with our Privacy Notice.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advacap Technologies, LLC is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be heard in the courts located there. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to Advacap Technologies, LLC via the support contact shown at checkout or on your Paddle receipt.
