Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

1. Our approach

Clarity Compass is built on trust: partners share honest answers about their relationship, and the service protects that space. This policy explains how we expect the service to be used and what happens when it isn't. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

2. Who may use Clarity Compass

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You may only take part in a session that you were invited to, or that you started yourself.
  • If you use Clarity Compass on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization.

3. Protecting session privacy

A couple's answers belong to the two people in that session. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to view another couple's session, answers, or results without their invitation code.
  • Share results, screenshots, or quotes from your own session in a way meant to harass, embarrass, or shame your partner or anyone else.
  • Use another person's email address or impersonate someone else when joining a session.

4. Prohibited conduct

When using Clarity Compass, you must not:

  • Break any applicable law, or use the service to plan or carry out unlawful activity.
  • Harass, threaten, defraud, stalk, or spam anyone.
  • Upload malware, probe or scan our systems, or interfere with the service's security or availability.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect content or data at scale, or resell or redistribute the service.
  • Reverse engineer the service, or bypass technical limits — including the paid Deep-Dive Report gate — without purchasing.
  • Share your session invitation code publicly or with people outside the couple.
  • Use the service while pretending to be your partner, or enter answers on their behalf.

5. Content standards

Anything you write in an assessment or reflection must be yours to share, and must not:

  • Be illegal, or promote violence, self-harm of others, or illegal activity.
  • Be hateful, harassing, or degrading toward any person or group.
  • Be sexually explicit content involving minors, or any exploitative content.
  • Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
  • Be intended to manipulate, deceive, or harm another person.

6. Using AI reflections responsibly

  • AI reflections are generated only after both partners give explicit consent, and are one input among many — not professional advice.
  • You are responsible for what you submit, how you use the output, and for verifying anything that matters to you.
  • Do not attempt to jailbreak, manipulate, or misuse the AI reflections feature.

7. What Clarity Compass is not for

Clarity Compass is a reflection tool, not therapy, counselling, medical or psychological advice, or crisis care. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional, and it never recommends whether to stay in or leave a relationship. Do not use it as evidence in legal disputes or to make decisions about the safety of another person. If you are in danger, contact local emergency or support services.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, and where we believe this policy has been breached, we may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the service, remove content, and report serious unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.

9. Reporting a problem

If you see someone violating this policy — or if your session has been accessed without permission — contact Advacap Technologies, LLC via the support contact shown on your Paddle receipt or at checkout, and we'll look into it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves; the "last updated" date above shows the current version. Continued use of Clarity Compass after a change means you accept the updated policy.
